Kinesiologists use exercise to improve their patient’s health, regardless of their condition or pathology. Kinesiotherapy, or specialized kinesiology, is a form of manual therapy combining various musculoskeletal rebalancing techniques. Working with the client, the therapist identifies the causes of their physical or functional problems and helps them to overcome these problems.
Functional capacity assessment
We offer a 60-minute session of qualitative assessment of the mobility and stability of different body complexes (shoulder, lumbopelvic-femoral, foot) to identify training needs for different issues (chronic pain, physical preparation) as well as standing posture assessment to reveal any dysfunctions.
Specialized movement optimization programming
A customized plan based on an assessment of key functional strength movements (squat, deadlift, lunge, bench press, and Pendlay row) designed to optimize athletic performance or improve functional capacity for the management of chronic pain.
Manual therapy sessions
We offer 60- or 90-minute sessions in which we use several musculoskeletal rebalancing tools to harmonize the various muscle chains in the human body and improve the functional quality of the musculoskeletal system:
- Posturology
- Auriculotherapy
- Massage therapy
- Cupping therapy
- Gua-sha IASTM
- Kinesiology taping
- Gentle joint mobilization/traction
- Functional movement retraining
